3D-EROS.NET vs VR

3D-EROS.NET is not a VR-only site.
It is for watching stereoscopic 3D videos on a day-based plan. That is different from VR, where you move your head to change the view.

From the official site, it looked specialized for 3D rather than a huge all-you-can-watch catalog. If 3D is not the goal, a regular video site is easier to understand first.

VR: watch with a headset and move the viewpoint
3D-EROS.NET: stereoscopic 3D video — check how playback works on your device

Putting on goggles does not make every site the same. Confirm 3D playback on your device using the official viewing guide.

What to check on pricing

Plans are listed in USD by number of days. The final yen amount changes with the rate at checkout. This article does not state a fixed price.

Check:

The site is for adults 18+
Whether plans other than 30 days exist
Auto-renewal and how to stop it
Download limits
What remains after you cancel

A good fit / not a good fit

A good fit if you:

Want 3D video specifically
Can check the viewing method yourself
Care more about stereoscopic 3D than library size

Not a good fit if you:

Want free-look VR
Just want to watch on a phone right now
Care most about how many titles there are

My notes

The plus is that the purpose is clear: you want 3D. It does not overlap much with a normal flat-video pass.
The caveats: the always-available library can look smaller, the value drops without a 3D setup, and USD pricing makes the yen total harder to see up front.

I would only consider it when 3D is the actual goal.
